Panasonic Lumix S 24-60mm f/2.8 Lens (L-Mount)

The Panasonic Lumix S 24-60mm f/2.8 Lens offers professional performance in a portable form factor, delivering a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout its zoom range. Designed for full-frame L-Mount cameras, this hybrid-ready zoom is built to handle everything from wide-angle landscapes to detailed portraits, with stunning image quality, soft background bokeh, and advanced close-up capabilities. Whether you're shooting stills or high-quality video, it's a compact, reliable tool ready to go anywhere.

Versatile Performance in a Compact Design

Engineered for hybrid creators, its constant f/2.8 brightness ensures consistent exposure and low-light performance across the entire zoom range—from wide 24mm to standard 60mm—making it well suited for landscapes, portraits, street scenes, and handheld video work. Despite its professional optics, it remains remarkably portable at just 1.2 lb and under 4 inches in length. With a minimum focusing distance of just 7.5" and a maximum magnification of 0.3x, the lens excels at capturing expressive close-ups, whether isolating small details with smooth bokeh or incorporating environmental context. When paired with select Lumix S cameras—including the S1II, S1IIE, S1RII, S5II, S5IIX, and S9—the Hybrid Zoom function can extend focal length digitally up to 187mm, providing added versatility without compromising framing or speed. A standout feature is the dual-function focus ring, which can be reassigned to control aperture or exposure compensation and reversed for a custom feel. Manual focus is supported during zooming, allowing for smooth subject transitions—ideal for videographers. You can also choose between linear mode for mechanical-style consistency or non-linear mode for responsive, speed-based focus shifts. Built with rugged outdoor shooting in mind, the lens is dust-, splash-, and freeze-resistant, and its optics meet the rigorous standards of the L-Mount Alliance for seamless cross-system compatibility.
