Old Elk Cigar Cut American Whiskey is the cigar blend from Old Elk Distillery in Fort Collins, Colorado, crafted by Master Distiller Greg Metze, the former MGP master distiller. Cigar Cut is built to stand up to a smoke: a blend of Old Elk whiskeys, including bourbon, wheat and rye whiskeys finished in a range of casks, married and bottled at 110.6 proof in a heavy decanter-style bottle.Old Elk describes a rich amber whiskey with vanilla and caramel on the nose intertwined with toasted oak and a subtle smokiness, a full-bodied, velvety palate of toffee, dark chocolate and baking spice, and a long, warming finish of oak and smoky sweetness. The idea behind a cigar blend is a whiskey with enough weight, sweetness and spice not to be overpowered by tobacco, and Cigar Cut delivers that whether or not there is a cigar involved. It is a limited release and one of Old Elk's most premium bottlings, a natural gift for the cigar lounge regular.Buy Old Elk Cigar Cut American Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
